Arab Spring's influence on Israeli relations with the Arab states

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce analyzuje vztahy Izraele se sousedními státy od vzniku Státu Izrael v roce 1948 do února 2018. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit jakým způsobem ovlivnilo arabské jaro vztahy Egypta, Jordánska, Sýrie a Libanonu s Izraelem. V rámci této problematiky se práce zabývá demokratizací, změnami v Egyptě, Jordánsku, Sýrii a Libanonu, které přineslo arabské jaro, vztahy Izraele s okolními arabskými státy před a po arabském jaru a obavami Izraele z následků arabských revolucí na Blízký východ.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis analyzes the relations between Israel and its neighboring Arab states since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 to February 2018. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how the Arab Spring influenced the relations of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon with Israel. This work deals with democratization, changes in Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon that brought Arab Spring, Israeli relations with the surrounding Arab states before and after the Arab Spring, and Israel's fears of the aftermath of the Arab Revolutions in the Middle East
