Telomere-associated proteins are involved in the regulation of processes occurring at telomeres. The Arabidopsis ds-DNA binding proteins of the SMH (Single Myb Histone) protein family with 5 members AtTRB1-5, are potential components of plant telomeric complex shelterin.
