Analysis of e-shop platforms for the Czech market

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá analýzou e-shop platforem vhodných pro tvorbu internetového obchodu na českém trhu, kde jsou pro podrobnější zkoumání vybrány platformy Shoptet, Upgates, Eshop-rychle, FastCentrik a Upgates. Analyzování probíhá v dílčích kritériích, mezi které se řadí např. nabízené parametry a cenové varianty platforem, náklady, grafický vzhled, porovnání uživatelského rozhraní nebo také výhody či nevýhody jednotlivých platforem. Práce také poskytuje objasnění problematiky dalších spojených poplatků a zkušeností při tvorbě e-shopu. Tyto poplatky jsou individuální u každého provozovatele, a proto je v práci nalezen společný základ za pomoci stanovených modelových podniků mikro, malého, středního a velkého rozsahu, pro které je nalezeno nejvhodnější řešení. Pro modelový mikro podnik jsou nalezeny vhodné platformy FastCentrik, Upgates a Eshop-rychle, pro malý podnik FastCentrik a Upgates, pro střední podnik jsou nejvhodnější platformy Upgates, FastCentrik a Shoptet a pro velký podnik Shoptet, Shopify a Upgates. Největší možnosti úprav z vybraných platforem nabízí Shopify, Upgates a Shoptet a platformy FastCentrik a Eshop-rychle jsou vhodné pro méně náročné podniky, potažmo provozovatele.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis of e-shop platforms suitable for the creation of an online store on the Czech market, where the platforms Shoptet, Upgates, Eshop-rychle, FastCentrik and Upgates are selected for a more detailed examination. The analysis is carried out in sub-criteria, which includes e.g. the offered parameters and price variants of the platforms, costs, graphic design, comparison of the user interface or advantages or disadvantages of each platform. The thesis also provides clarification on other associated fees and experiences in the process of creating an e-shop. These fees are individual for each operator, and therefore the thesis finds a common ground with the help of established model businesses of micro, small, medium and large scale for which an optimal solution is found. For the model micro company FastCentrik, Upgates and Eshop-rychle are found suitable, for small company FastCentrik and Upgates, for medium company Upgates, FastCentrik and Shoptet are the most suitable platforms and for large company Upgates, Shoptet and Shopify are the most suitable platforms. Shopify, Upgates and Shoptet offer the most customisation options of the selected platforms, while FastCentrik and Eshop-rychle are suitable for less demanding businesses and operators.
