Obsahem této práce je analýza pojetí času u Aristotela a Aurelia Augustina a její následná komparace se současnými poznatky. V práci jsou také zmíněny výsledky bádání myslitelů, kteří předcházeli a ovlivnili oba filosofy, z nichž je nejvíce přihlédnuto ke koncepcím Platóna a Plotína. The contents of this thesis is analysis of understanding of time by Aristotle and Aurelius Augustinus and consequent comparison with contemporary knowledge. The researches of thinkers, who preceded and influenced both philosophers, primarily Plato's and Plotinus's conceptions, are also mentioned.
