Abstract:

Téma mé diplomové práce „Finanční analýza podniku„ jsem si zvolil proto, abych se dozvěděl co nejvíce informací o finanční situaci společnosti IRCR Manufacturing. Jsem jejím zaměstnancem a pracuji v oddělení strategického nákupu, ale analyzovat čísla (účetní výkazy) pro mme představuje velmi zajímavé téma.Cílem diplomové práce je podat stručný teoretický výklad finanční analýzy a následně finanční analýzu aplikovat na podniku, ve kterém pracuji. Pro přehlednost je práce rozdělena na metodologickou a praktickou část.Metodologická část, která tvoří podklad pro část praktickou, se zabývá úlohou finanční analýzy a podrobně se věnuje metodám a konkrétním ukazatelům finanční analýzy. Cílem této části je vytvořit srozumitelný podklad a strukturu pro následnou praktickou aplikaci finanční analýzy.Praktická část představuje převedení uvedené teorie do praxe. Budu se v ní podrobně zabývat horizontální a vertikální analýzou rozvahy a výsledovky, zanalyzuji základní ukazatele používané ve finanční analýze a připojím analýzu soustav poměrových ukazatelů. Pomocí těchto výsledků se pokusím zhodnotit celkové finanční zdraví podniku.V závěru této práce provedu pro přehlednost celkové zhodnocení situace v analyzované společnosti a porovnám společnost IRCR Manufacturing s.r.o. s konkurenčními podniky.Finanční analýza je provedena z pohledu interního pozorovatele, protože jsem jejím zaměstnancem, který má nejen přístup ke všem datům, ale také povědomí o reálném fungování společnosti.

Abstract:

The subject of my thesis - The financial analysis of a company - I chose to find out about the financial situation of the IRCR Manufacturing company. I am its employee and I work in the strategic procurement department, however I find analysing numbers (financial reports) a much more exciting theme. The aim of my thesis is to give a brief theoretic interpretation of a financial analysis and then apply it on the company, in which I work. For greater clarity, the thesis is divided into two sections - methodological and practical. The methodological section creates a background for the practical section. It is dealing with the task of the financial analysis, its methods and its specific indices, in detail. The aim of this section is to create a comprehensible background and structure for the subsequent practical application of the financial analysis. The practical section presents the transformation of this theory in practice. In this section, I am going to be dealing with the horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the income statement, I will analyse the basic indices used in the financial analysis and attach an analysis of ratios. Using these results, I am going to attempt to evaluate the financial health of the company. For greater clarity, I will evaluate the situation in the analysed company at the end of my thesis. I will also compare the IRCR Manufacturing Ltd. with competing companies. The financial analysis is taken from the viewpoint of an internal observer, because I am its employee, who not only has access to all data, but also has the knowledge of the company’s real functioning.
