Social Relationships of Children in Institutional Care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociálních vztahů u dětí v institucionální péči. Teoretická část práce objasňuje pojmy týkající se dané problematiky, konkrétně sociální skupina, role ve skupině, komunikace a její formy, náhradní výchova, příčiny umístění dětí do náhradní výchovy a možná rizika související s pobytem v institucionální péči. Praktická část se věnuje sociometrickému výzkumu, který si klade za cíl zjistit vztahy mezi dětmi v konkrétním dětském domově, jejich sociální vazby, role a statusy. Součástí praktické části je i doporučení pro práci s konkrétní skupinou, která může posloužit také jako příklad dobré praxe.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the contribution of children's social relations in institutional care. Theoretical part of this thesis explains problematics of this topic, specifically social group, the role in the group, communication and its form, alternative education, reasons for placing children in alternative education and possible risks associated with staying in institutional care. Practical part of the diploma thesis is devoted to sociometric research, which aims to find out the relationships between children in a particular children's home, their social ties, roles and statuses. The practical part also includes recommendations for working with a specific group, which can also serve as an example of good practice.
