Comparison of Various Types of Communication Used in Business

Abstract:

The purpose of the present study is to properly analyze and compare different types of communication which are typically used in business environment. They are {--} face to face communication, telephoning, presentation, business correspondence and electronic means of communication. All of them are approached from different points of view. In the theoretical part they are characterized and in the analysis their typical formal and language features are demonstrated in samples, which are afterwards analyzed. Moreover, a pilot study carried out in companies shows effectiveness and popularity of different styles in real working environment.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a porovnáním různých druhů komunikace, které se často používají v obchodním prostředí. Osobní komunikace, telefonování, prezentace, obchodní korespondence a elektronické typy komunikace jsou analyzovány z různých úhlů pohledu. V teoretické části jsou představeny jejich rysy a analytická část demonstruje tyto formální a jazykové rysy na příkladech, které dále analyzuje. Pilotní výzkum, který byl proveden ve firmách, ukazuje, jak jsou různé typy komunikace efektivní a oblíbené ve skutečném pracovním prostředí.
