Verification of the influence of primary prevention program focused on classroom climate for high school students

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo ověření vlivu preventivního programu na třídní klima, a to v oblastech, na které se program zaměřil. Dalším cílem bylo zjištění genderových rozdílů a shod ve vnímání třídního klimatu. Výzkumný vzorek zahrnoval tři programové třídy (n = 94), a jednu neprogramovou (n = 32), jednalo se o první ročníky šestiletého gymnázia. Diagnostika třídního programu probíhala ve 3 měřeních pomocí dotazníku Klima školní třídy. Měření probíhala týden před programem, týden po jeho realizaci a s měsíčním odstupem po předchozím měření. Kvantitativní analýza odhalila významné změny třídního klimatu pouze ve vztahových škálách, a to jen u dvou tříd. Celkově se tedy vliv programu na třídní klima neprokázal. Měření s měsíčním odstupem ukázalo změny v třídním klimatu, tudíž pokud změny nastaly, tak nepřetrvaly. V otázce vnímání klimatu z genderového hlediska nebyly odhaleny rozdíly mezi muži a ženami. Zjištění z diplomové práce porovnáváme s dalšími studiemi především skrze délku realizovaného programu. Je zapotřebí dalšího zkoumání a propojení poznatků z vývoje skupinové dynamiky a jeho vlivu na třídní klima.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to verify the impact of the preventive program on the classroom climate in the areas targeted by the program. Another goal was to identify gender differences and consensus in class climate perception. The research sample included three program classes (n = 94), and one non-programmatic (n = 32), the first year of the six-year grammar school. Class program diagnostics was done in 3 measurements using the school class climate questionnaire. The measurements took place one week before the program, one week after its implementation and one month after the previous measurement. Quantitative analysis revealed significant changes in class climate in relational scales only in two classes. Overall, the impact of the program on the class climate has not been demonstrated. The measurement revealed changes after one month's distance, if there were changes in classroom climate, they didn´t last. In terms of gender perception of the climate, there were no differences between men and women. The findings from the thesis are compared with other studies mainly through the length of the implemented program. There is a need for further exploration and linking of developments in group dynamics and its impact on class climate.
