Individual planning in practice of guardian – focus in Liberecký kraj

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá současným stavem individuálního plánování v praxi kurátorů pro děti a mládež v Libereckém kraji. Předkládaná práce si klade za cíl zodpovědět otázku „Které prvky individuálního plánování se uplatňují v současné praxi kurátorů pro děti a mládež v Libereckém kraji?“. V teoretické části je přiblížen kontext a širší okolnosti tématu. Jsou zde definovány používané pojmy a odvozeny koncepty – zejména jsou vymezeny prvky individuálního plánování. Metodická část zdůvodňuje volbu výzkumné metody a strategie a popisuje výběr respondentů. Empirická část popisuje průběh výzkumu, který byl založen na analýze šesti polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s kurátory pro děti a mládež z Libereckého kraje. Předkládaná práce ve svém závěru dochází k tomu, že vymezené prvky individuálního plánování jsou v současné praxi určitým způsobem přítomny. Tento stav však s ohledem na nároky novely zákona o sociálně-právní ochraně dětí a nároky kladenými na profesionální sociální práci vyžaduje značné změny, jejichž nástin je uveden v doporučeních pro praxi.

Abstract:

This paper deals with contemporary status of individual planning in the practice of guardians for youth and children in Liberecký kraj. Presented work aims to answer the following question: „What elements of the individual planning are applied in the contemporary practice of guardians for youth and children in Liberecký kraj?“. In the theoretical part, the context and wider circumstances of the issue are briefly described. The author defines basic terms and concepts derived from them – namely the elements of individual planning are specified. In the methodology, the author puts arguments for methods chosen and strategies used, as well as he says how the respondents were chosen. The empirical part describes the development of the research, which is based on the analysis of six semi-structured interviews that were carried out with guardian of the above mentioned region. The conclusion of this work is that the defined elements of individual planning are, in a certain way, present in the contemporary practice. But this situation, considering the novella of the Social-legal protection of children law and the claim of professionality in social work, demand significant changes. Possible changes are briefly sketched as a suggestion in the last part.
