Sexuality of transsexuals FtM

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá sexualitou u transsexuálů FtM. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem transsexuálové (FtM) prožívají svoji sexualitu, jakým způsobem se vztahují k normám ženské a mužské sexuality, jak je vnímají a sami konstruují a zda se proměňuje jejich vyjádření sexuality během přeměny. Práce z velké části vychází z Foucaultových Dějin sexuality. Kvalitativní výzkum je uchopen jako fenomenologické zkoumání, vychází z rozhovorů se 14 lidmi, kterým byla diagnostikována transsexualita.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with sexuality of transsexuals FtM. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how transsexuals (FtM) experience their sexuality, how they relate to standards of female and male sexuality, how they perceive and construct their identity and if their expression of sexuality has changes in the process of their transition to opposite gender. Theoretical part is largely based on Foucault's The History of Sexuality. The research is based on qualitative methodology and consists of phenomenological examination. 14 people who have been diagnosed as transsexuals participated in this research.
