Distributed memory quantitative LTL model checking of probabilistic systems

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá metodami automatizované verifikace počítačových systémů, které jsou založené na tzv. Model Checkingu. Práce prezentuje problém kvantitativního ověřování pravdpodobnostních modelů formulemi lineární temporální logiky v prostředí s distribuovanou pamětí. Při návrhu algoritmu se vychází z automatového přístupu pro ověřování standardních modelů. V práci jsou zkoumány metody transformace zadaného problému na grafový problém a následné řešení soustavy lineárních nerovnic. Hlavní část práce se zabývá distribuovaným algoritmem pro detekci všech akceptujících koncových komponent, který je klíčový pro kvantitativní ověřování LTL vlastností pravdpodobnostních model. Navržený algoritmus je popsán podrobným pseudokódem zahrnujícím aspekty efektivní paralelizace jeho jednotlivých částí. Po implementaci v prostředí nástroje DiVinE, který je vyvíjen v laboratoři ParaDiSe, bude tento nástroj rozšířen o možnost verifikovat pravděpodobnostní modely.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is dealing with methods of automatic verification of computers systems based on model checking. It presents the problem of distributed memory quantitative LTL model checking of probabilistic models. Automata based verification of standard models were used in an algorithm design. The methods of transformation of the verification problem into graph problem and following solution of linear system of inequations are studied in the thesis. The main part of the thesis is aimed at the distributed algorithm for the detection of all accepting end components. The algorithm is heart of the quantitative verification probabilistic models problem. The design algorithm is described by the detailed pseudo code including aspects of effective parallelization of its individual parts. The tool DiVinE developed in the laboratory ParaDiSe could be enlarged by the possibility to verify probabilistic models After implementation in the environment of the DiVinE tool.
