Conditions and factors of entry for small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic in 2004-2017

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá podmínkami a faktory vstupu na trh pro malé a střední podnikatele v České republice v souvislosti se vstupem do Evropské unie. Práce analyzuje rok 2002, z důvodu návaznosti informací a zdůraznění rozdílů před a po vstupu České republiky do Evropské unie, dále rok 2007 a nakonec rok 2017. Zkoumanou hypotézou práce je výrok, že podnikatelské prostředí se v souvislosti se vstupem České republiky do Evropské unie zlepšuje. Cílem práce je tak metodou analýzy dat utvořit ucelený obraz vymezeného podnikatelského prostředí a potvrdit či vyvrátit stanovenou hypotézu. Teoretická část popisuje základní terminologii podnikatelského prostředí a uvádí, jaká další témata se ho dotýkají. Praktická část analyzuje stanovené roky podle legislativní úpravy České republiky a podle oficiálních statistických zdrojů. Dále se zaměřuje na podmínky zahájení podnikání formou obchodní společnosti s ručením omezeným a uvádí postavení České republiky z globálního hlediska. Členstvím v Evropské unii se zvyšuje počet programů na podporu podnikání, ale zároveň se výrazně zvětšuje objem legislativních pravidel. Přesto analýza ukázala, že zahájení podnikání v České republice je od vstupu do Evropské unie čím dál tím snazší a každým rokem se přibližuje blíže k ekonomikám zemí, kde je zahájení podnikání nejsnazší.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the conditions and factors of market entry for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic in connection with the accession to the European Union. The work analyzes the year 2002, in order to collect information and to emphasize the differences before and after the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union, then in 2007 and finally in 2017. The hypothesis examined is the statement that the business environment improves in connection with the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to create a single image of a defined business environment using the data analysis method and to confirm or refute the given hypothesis. The theoretical part describes the basic terminology of the business environment and presents what other topics are concerned. The practical part analyzes the established years according to the Czech Republic's legislation and official statistical sources. It also focuses on the conditions of starting a business in the form of a limited liability company and states the position of the Czech Republic in a global perspective. Membership in the European Union increases the number of business support programs, but at the same time, the volume of legislative rules is increasing. Nevertheless, the analysis has shown that the start of business in the Czech Republic is becoming easier to enter the European Union and each year is closer to the economies of countries where the start of business is the easiest.
