Impact of the Asian Competition on the Czech Companies

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o v posledních několika letech to diskutovaném tématu, a to dopadech asijské konkurence na české firmy. V teoretické části práce jsou představeny ekonomiky vybraných asijských zemí včetně jejich dosavadního vývoje a zároveň vývoj ekonomiky České republiky. V praktické části se práce zaměřuje na vybrané firmy v nejvíce ohrožených odvětvích. Cílem práce je zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti daných podniků a porovnání jak jednotlivé firmy vnímají asijskou konkurenci. Na konci práce budou vypracována určitá řešení, která umožní snížit dopad asijské konkurence na podnikání našich firem, a následně mohou vést k jejich úspěchu a prosperitě. Jak v teoretické, tak v praktické rovině se práce zmiňuje o Vietnamské komunitě a její působnosti v České republice, jak v minulosti, tak v současné době.

Abstract:

This diploma work deals with a topic very discussed in the latest years –the impacts of the Asian competition on the Czech companies. The theoretical part introduces the economics of selected Asian countries including their development till today as well as the Czech Republic economic development. The practical part focuses on selected companies in the most endangered industries. The aim of the work is to evaluate the competitiveness of the particular enterprises and a comparison of how the particular companies view the Asian competition. Certain solutions enabling to decrease the impact of the Asian competition on the business of our companies which may consequently lead to their success and prosperity are elaborated at the conclusion of the work. The works states, both at the theoretical and practical level, the Vietnam community and its operation in the Czech Republic, in the past and in the present.
