Information and cyber security in the organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou informační a kybernetické bezpečnosti v souvislosti s aplikací modelu užívání vlastních technologických zařízení zaměstnanců do specifické oblasti vybrané organizace. Teoretická část práce prezentuje legislativní vymezení problematiky informační a kybernetické bezpečnosti a užívání vlastních technologických zařízení zaměstnanců v České republice, popisuje řízení informační a kybernetické bezpečnosti v organizacích a model užívání vlastních technologických zařízení zaměstnanců včetně hrozeb, které aplikace tohoto modelu doprovází. Praktická část práce obsahuje proces analýzy a hodnocení informačních a kybernetických rizik ve specifické oblasti vybrané organizace s ohledem na vybrané hrozby, které souvisí s realizací modelu užívání vlastních technologických zařízení zaměstnanců. Na základě analýzy a hodnocení rizik navrhuje organizaci bezpečnostní opatření ke snížení potenciálně akceptovatelných a neakceptovatelných rizik a poskytuje návrhy a doporučení, které plynou ze získaných poznatků.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of information and cyber security in the context of the application of the model of using employee’s own technological devices to a specific area of the selected organization. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the legislative definition of the issue of information and cyber security and using employee’s own technological devices in the Czech Republic, describes the management of information and cyber security in organizations and the model of using employee’s own technological devices, including threats that accompany the application of this model. The practical part of the thesis contains the process of information and cyber risk analysis and assessment in specific area of selected organization with regard to selected threats related to the implementation of the model of using employee’s own technological devices. Based on the risk analysis and assessment, the thesis proposes security measures to reduce potentially acceptable and unacceptable risks to the organization and provides suggestions and recommendations resulting from the findings.
