Hippies look for alternative

Abstract:

Alternativní způsoby života jsou stejně staré jako společnost sama. Cílem každého alternativního způsobu života je se od způsobu života většinové společnosti lišit. Což znamená najít si vlastní práva a povinnosti, určit si vlastní řád. Tato práce je zaměřena na zkoumání vybraného alternativního způsobu života, kterým žilo hnutí hippies během 60. let 20. století v Americe. Práce mapuje nejen tehdejší společenství hippies, ale také vlivy, které na toto společenství působily a ovlivňovaly jej. Práce vychází z poznatků o obecných sociálních hnutí, z definování příčin vzniku hnutí a fungování různých sociálních skupin. Dále se zabývá předchůdci a kořeny, které vedly ke vzniku hnutí hippies. Hlavním bodem práce je samotné hnutí hippies a popis vnějších i vnitřních vlivů, které na něj působily. Závěr poskytuje pohled na současnou společnost a prognózu o jejím dalším vývoji.

Abstract:

Alternative lifeways are as old as our community. Intention of every alternative lifeway is differing from lifeway of major part of the community. It means to realize their discretions and duties, appoint their regulations. This work is oriented on exploration chosen alternative lifeway, which streem of hippies lived during the 60's of the 20th century in America. The work deals not only community of those days hippies, but also influences which were responsible for changing of those community. My work results from observation of main social movements, from reason definition of beginning of this movement and from behavior of other movements. It continues with their predecessors and sources, which led to hippies accurrance. The stream of hippies and description their outer and inner influences, are the main point of this work. Conclusion allows a view to the current community and prognosis of their next progress.
