This Master thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of two Czech translations of the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell with a focus on translation strategies. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na srovnání dvou českých překladů románu Devatenáct set osmdesát čtyři od Georga Orwella se zaměřením na překladatelské strategie.
