Taxation and Customs Aspects of the Acquisition of a Car From the European Union or Third Country

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na daňové a celní aspekty pořízení automobilů z Evropské unie a třetí země. Podstatou práce bylo zkoumání v praxi využívaných postupů podniku a následné doporučení postupu. Bylo zkoumáno několik pohledů na daňové a celní aspekty. Co se týče pořízení automobilu z Evropské unie, byly shrnuty postupy nákupu automobilů jak do majetku společnosti, tak k obchodním účelům. Dále byla zkoumána daňová a celní problematika týkající se dovozu automobilu. Hlavním výsledkem práce je vyhotovení po-stupů, jak by společnost měla v takovýchto případech postupovat, jakým chybám se vyvarovat a zahrnuje také schémata, která by měla pomoci snadnější orientaci v budoucích nákupech automobilů.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the tax and customs aspects of car procurement from the European Union and the third country. The essence of the thesis was to investigate the practices used by the company in practice and to recommend the procedures. Several perspectives on tax and customs aspects have been examined. Regarding the purchase of a car from the European Union, the procedures for purchasing cars, for both company assets and business purposes, were summarized here. Furthermore, tax and customs issues related to car imports were examined. The main result of the work is to develop procedures for how the company should act in such cases, avoid mistakes, and include schemes that should facilitate easier orientation in future car purchases.
