Study about how communication channels can influence the conflict in the company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá možnosti vnitropodnikové komunikace a její možná úskalí, která se mohou promítnout do pracovních vztahů v podobě konfliktů ovlivňujících chod společnosti. Pro lepší pochopení této problematiky se teoretická část práce zprvu věnuje komunikaci v obecné rovině, interní komunikaci a komunikačním kanálům, včetně jejich výhod a problematických aspektů, i dalším faktorům ovlivňujícím vědomí zaměstnanců. Další část je pak zaměřena na konflikty uvnitř společnosti. Přestavuje možné typy konfliktů, chyby v komunikaci, které jsou příčinami jejich vzniku, i možná řešení a předcházení konfliktů. Cílem práce byl výzkum vlivu zmíněných faktorů na potenciální konflikt ve společnosti, a to nejen zpracováním informací z odborné literatury, ale především také vlastním výzkumem prostřednictvím dotazníku zaměřeného na dané téma z pohledu vedoucích pracovníků i řadových zaměstnanců, jehož výsledky jsou zpracovány v závěrečné části práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis studies the possibilities of company internal communication and its probable pitfalls. These can be reflected in work relationships in the form of conflicts, possible affecting the operation of the company. For better understanding of this subject, the theoretical part is dedicated to overall communication, internal communication, and communication channels (including their benefits and issues, as well as other factors influencing the knowledge of employees) at the beginning. The subsequent part is focused on conflicts within the company. Here possible types of conflicts, communication errors responsible for the conflicts, as well as possible solutions and conflict prevention are presented. The goal of the thesis was to find out the influence of these factors on the potential conflict at work. The processing information from the expert sources was used. However, the main emphasis was put onto the survey among managers and employees using the questionnaire focused on this topic from the point of view of superiors and subordinates. The results of the survey are shown in at the end of the thesis.
