Nikolaj Medtner - the composer and the pedagogue
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá skladatelem Nikolajem Karlovičem Medtnerem, jeho dílem a klavírní pedagogikou. Stěžejní částí práce je analýza tří klavírních skladeb z Medtnerova cyklu Pohádky zaměřená především na problematiku interpretace. Konkrétně je rozebrána Pohádka b moll, op. 20, č. 1, Pohádka f moll, op. 26, č. 3 a Pohádka e moll, op. 34, č. 2.
Abstract:
The bachelor´s thesis deals with a composer Nikolai Karlovich Medtner, his compositions and piano pedagogy. The main part of the thesis is the analysis of three piano pieces from Medtner´s cycle Fairy Tales primarily based on the issue of interpretation. Namely there are analysed Fairy Tale B minor, op. 20, no. 1, Fairy Tale F minor, op. 26, no. 3 and Fairy Tale E minor, op. 34, no. 2.
