The Role of Nurse in the Care of a Patient after Transplantation

Anotace:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na roli sestry v péči o pacienta po transplantaci. Cílem práce je zjistit a popsat specifika ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty po transplantacích a zdůraznit tak význam práce sester v této oblasti. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě oblasti, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se věnuje historií transplantací, aktuální situací v České republice, transplantačním centrům, dárcovství orgánů a transplantační legislativě. Dále popisuje transplantační tým, specifika pooperační péče, možné komplikace spojené s transplantacemi a důležitost imunosupresivní terapie. Praktická část práce je tvořena kvalitativním průzkumem realizovaným prostřednictvím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se zdravotními sestrami, které se přímo podílejí na péči o transplantované pacienty.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on the role of nurses in the care of patients after transplantation. The goal of the thesis is to identify and describe the specifics of nursing care for post-transplant patients, highlighting the importance of nurses in this field. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part addresses the history of transplantation, the current situation in the Czech Republic, transplant centres, organ donation, and transplantation legislation. It also describes the transplant team, specifics of postoperative care, possible complication associated with transplantation, and the importance of immunosuppressive therapy. The practical part consists of a qualitative survey conducted through interviews with nurses who are directly involved in the care of transplant patients.
