About the Life-style of Eastern-Bohemian Aristocracy of 19. century: Hunts with Hounds and steeplechases
Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na šlechtické zábavy v 19. století – parforsní hony. Na Pardubicku proslul v 19. století lov zvěře po anglickém způsobu, kdy se lovená zvěř nestala obětí lovců, ale byla pouze odchycena. Anglický způsob lovu se stal spíše sportovní záležitostí, která inspirovala i vznik dostihových překážkových drah.
Abstract:
This work is focused on free time activities of the aristocracy in 19th century – hunts with hounds. Pardubice were famous for English style of hunting, where the wild was not killed, but only chatched. English style of hunting became more sporting event and it inspirated establishing of steeplechases.
