Hypoglycaemia in pre-hospital emergency care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma hypoglykémie v přednemocniční neodkladné péči. V teoretické části se zabývá anatomií hlavní žlázy - slinivky břišní, která ovlivňuje glykémii, popisem diabetu mellitu, jeho historií, klasifikací, komplikacemi, popisem hypoglykémie, diagnostikou, klinickým obrazem a léčebnými postupy tohoto onemocnění v přednemocniční neodkladné péči. Praktická část se skládá ze dvou částí. První část se zabývá analýzou výjezdových záznamů k hypoglykémickým stavům, které byly vyhledány v archivu zdravotnické záchranné služby s předem stanovenými kritérii i během období 1. 7. 2020 - 1. 7. 2021. Z množství stavů, které byly vyhledány, bylo náhodně vybráno 5 výjezdů. Z těchto výjezdových záznamů byly vytvořeny krátké kazuistiky jako ukázka výjezdu zdravotnické záchranné služby u případu hypoglykémie. Druhou část tvoří dotazníkové šetření se znalostním dotazníkem vlastní tvorby pro studenty třetích ročníků oboru zdravotnický záchranář. Tento dotazník měl zmapovat teoretickou i praktickou připravenost studentů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of hypoglycemia in pre-hospital emergency care. In the theoretical part, he deals with the anatomy of the main gland - the pancreas, which affects glycemia, the description of diabetes mellitus, its history, classification, complications, description of hypoglycemia, diagnostics, clinical picture and treatment of this disease in pre-hospital emergency care. The practical part consists of two parts. The first part deals with the analysis of exit records for hypoglycemic conditions that were searched in the archive of the emergency medical service with predetermined criteria during the period 1.7.2020 - 1.7.2021. From the number of states that were searched, 5 exits were randomly selected. From these exit records, short case reports were created as an example of the emergency medical service trip in a case of hypoglycemia. The second part consists of a questionnaire survey with a knowledge questionnaire of own creation for third-year students in the field of paramedic. This questionnaire was intended to map the theoretical and practical readiness of students.
