Design and Manufacture of Hydraulic Brake Component

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá generativním designem a jeho využití při úpravě dílů za účelem zlepšení jejich mechanických vlastností. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na proces výroby vybraného dílu. Dále popisuje konstruování pomocí počítačových programů. V další části se věnuje samotnému generativnímu navrhování a poté pojednává o 3D tisku, se kterým je tento způsob výroby spjat. V praktické části je prezentována tvorba CAD modelu, jeho tisku a mechanickému zkoušení. Poté se věnuje úpravou tohoto modelu generativním navrhováním, tisku těchto součástí a jejich mechanickým zkoušením. Závěrem je provedeno srovnávání referenčního a dvou upravených dílců z dat získaných mechanickými zkouškami.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with generative design and its use in the modification of parts in order to improve their mechanical properties. The theoretical part focuses on the production process of the selected part. It also describes design using computer programs. The next part deals with generative design itself and then discusses 3D printing, with which this method of production is connected. The practical part presents the creation of a CAD model, its printing and mechanical testing. He then deals with the modification of this model by generative design, printing of these components and their mechanical testing. Last of al lis made a comparison of the reference and two modified parts from the data obtained by mechanical tests its performed.
