Education in social work versus practice of social work

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce nese název Teorie sociální práce versus praxe sociální práce. Cílem práce je zjistit jak vzdělávání v oboru sociální práce koresponduje s výkonem profese sociálního pracovníka. Tato práce je tvořena částí teoretickou a výzkumnou. Části teoretické jsou věnovány tři kapitoly. V kapitole první se věnuji vzdělávání sociálních pracovníků, kladenými požadavky a také přístupy k tomu vzdělávání. Kapitola druhá se věnuje propojování teorie a praxe sociální práce a v kapitole třetí se zabývám potřebností tohoto propojení pro sociální práci samotnou a také pro studenty oboru a sociální pracovníky. V části výzkumné je kvalitativní metodou zjištěno, absolventů navazujícího magisterského studijního oboru Sociální práce FSS OU hodnotí nabyté znalosti a dovednosti v rámci studia a v souvislosti s výkonem profese sociálního pracovníka.

Abstract:

This thesis is titled Theory of Social Work versus the Practice of Social Work. The aim of the thesis is to find out how education in social work corresponds to the performance of a social worker. This thesis consists of the theoretical and research part. Theoretical parts are devoted to three chapters. In the first chapter I deal with the education of social workers, requirements and approaches to education. The second chapter deals with the interconnection of the theory and practice of social work, and in chapter three I address the necessity of this connection for social work itself, as well as for students of the field and social workers. In the research part is by qualitative form found, the graduates of the follow-up master's study Social Work FSS OU evaluate the acquired knowledge and skills in the study and in connection with the performance of the profession of social worker.
