The main topic of the diploma thesis is the commented translation of the two short stories of the russian writer Dmitry Bakin and the literary and theoretical analysis of these works. The first part is devoted to selected aspects of the theory of literary translation, life and the work of Dmitry Bakin, and also contains analysis of the stories.
