Diplomová práca sa zaoberá dlhovou krízou v krajinách Európy a jej úzkou previazanosťou na stabilitu bankového sektora. Cieľom práce je zhodnotenie príčin a možný dopad dlhovej krízy na bankový sektor v Slovenskej republike. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na bankový sektor, ktorý slúži ako zdroj financovania potrieb vlády.
