Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem řeči u bilingvních dětí předškolního věku.Skládá se z části teoretické a empirické. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny pojmy bilingvismus, přirozený bilingvismus, bilingvní výchova a vzdělávání, V druhé kapitole je popsán vývoj řeči u monolingvních tak bilingvních dětí.Ve třetí kapitole je zařazen výzkumný projekt.
