Child abuse - description of the Moravian-Silesian region

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je problematika zanedbávání, týrání a zneužívání dětí. V úvodu je definován pojem dítě a zdraví. Následující kapitola se zaobírá socializací a jejího vlivu na jedince. Dále uvádím pojetí dítěte v různých historických kontextech a společenské rozdíly mezi pohlavími potomků. Další část práce se zabývá syndromem CAN a jeho základními formami, jako je zanedbávání, aktivní a pasivní fyzické týrání, citové týrání a sexuální zneužívání včetně vysvětlení pojmu incest. Kromě toho se práce zaměřuje na typickou formu týrání ve školách, kterou je šikana, a s tím související kyberšikana, která je v dnešní době také rozšířená. Okrajově jsou rozebrány další formy týrání. Další kapitola je věnována důsledkům a možným příčinám týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání, jakou může být posttraumatická porucha. Následně se hovoří o preventivních opatřeních a možných terapiích syndromu CAN. Dále se práce věnuje právním následkům této problematiky, včetně citace paragrafů trestných činů souvisejících s týráním a zneužíváním. Poslední kapitola se zabývá organizacemi a institucemi, které se věnují pomoci týraným, zneužívaným a zanedbávaným dětem v Moravskoslezském kraji. Některé z nich jsou více popsány. Nakonec v praktické části se nachází vyhodnocení provedeného nástinu výzkumu evidence nejčastějších forem týrání dětí u organizací v Moravskoslezském kraji, které se tímto problémem zabývají.

Abstract:

The main topic of the bachelor thesis is the issue of child neglect, abuse and maltreatment. In the introduction the concept of child and health is defined. The following chapter deals with socialization and its effect on the individual. Next, I consider the concept of the child in different historical contexts and the social differences between the sexes of offspring. The next part of the thesis deals with CAN syndrome and its basic forms such as neglect, active and passive physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual abuse including an explanation of the concept of incest. In addition, the thesis focuses on the typical form of abuse in schools, which is bullying, and the related cyberbullying, which is also widespread nowadays. Other forms of abuse are discussed in passing. The next chapter is devoted to the consequences and possible causes of abuse and neglect, such as post-traumatic stress disorder. Subsequently, preventive measures and possible therapies for CAN syndrome are discussed. Next, the paper discusses the legal implications of the issue, including citation of sections of crimes related to abuse and maltreatment. The last chapter deals with organisations and institutions dedicated to helping abused, abused and neglected children in the Moravian Silesian Region. Some of them are described in more detail. Finally, in the practical part there is an evaluation of the research conducted on the most frequent forms of child abuse in organizations in the Moravian-Silesian Region that deal with this problem.
