Supported employment as a form of social services of persons with hearing disabilities

Abstract:

Cílem práce je popsat metodiku Podporovaného zaměstnávání v praxi. Poukázat na komplexnost v rámci sociálních služeb, to v čem je jedinečná, a na využití jejich výhod v integraci osob se sluchovým postižením. První část tvoří teoretická východiska, která tvoří teoretickou část pro část praktickou. Praktická část obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum zpracovaný formou případové studie, kde autor popisuje fungování služby Podporovaného zaměstnávání v praxi. Jako zdroj dat autor využil dokumentaci poskytnutou pracovníky Agentury profesního poradenství pro neslyšící, ve které jsem vykonával praxi, diskuze a rozhovory vedené s pracovníky Agentury o jejich zkušenostech a postřezích související s aplikací a fungováním metodik v praxi. Z výsledků případové studie jsou zřejmé výhody Podporovaného zaměstnávání, komplexnost služby a vymezeni v kontextu sociálních služeb.

Abstract:

The aim of thesis is to describe the supported employment methodology in practice. Point the complexity of the social services in what is unique and the use of their advantages in the integration of persons with hearing disabilities. The first part consists of theoretical principles, which form the theoretical basis for the practical part. The practical part includes qualitative research in a form of case studies, where the author describes the supported employment services in practice. As a source of data I used the documentation provided by the staff of the Agency's professional counseling for the deaf, which he was engaged in practice, talks and discussions with Agency staff about their experiences and observations of related applications and operation methods in practice. The results of case studies show the benefits of supported employment, and the complexity of the services defined within the context of social services.
