Inclusion of foreigners at elementary school in Sokolov on the example of students from the former Soviet Union

Abstract:

Tato práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá vzděláváním cizinců na základní škole a klimatem školní třídy, kterou navštěvují cizinci. Dále jsou uvedeny koncepty inkluze, integrace, inkluzivního vzdělávání a identity. Praktická část se snaží o představení žáků-cizinců z Ruské federace a Ukrajiny, kteří navštěvují základní školu. Dále se snaží přiblížit, jak se žák-cizinec cítí v novém prostředí cizí země, jak se vypořádává s novým jazykem a s čím se ve třídě během svého studia setkává. Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížit proces inkluze a integrace žáků-cizinců do třídního kolektivu a poskytnout hlubší pohled na tyto cizince ze zemí bývalého Sovětského svazu v českém prostředí, a to zejména pomocí případové studie.

Abstract:

This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the education of foreigners in elementary school and classroom climate, which is attended by foreigners. The following are the concepts of inclusion, integration, inclusive education and identity. The practical part tries to introduce pupils-foreigners from Russia and Ukraine attending elementary school. It tries to show how the foreigners feel in the new environment of a foreign country, how they deal with a new language and with what they meet during their studies. The aim of this thesis is to describe the process of inclusion and integration of pupils-foreigners into the class community and provide a deeper look at these foreigners from countries of the former Soviet Union in the Czech environment, especially using case study.
