Self-Reflection of a Leisure Educator

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá pohledem pedagoga volného času na sebe sama a svoji práci. Měl by se zamýšlet nad svou pedagogickou činností, hodnotit ji a hledat možnosti jejího zlepšení. Jedná se o sebereflexi jako aktuální téma v procesu kvalitní sociální interakce pedagoga volného času s dítětem. Cílem této práce je zjistit pohled jednotlivých pedagogů volného času na vlastní činnost skrze dotazníkové šetření. Teoretická část popisuje pojem sebereflexe, její význam, fáze, funkce a metody. Navazuje na téma sociální interakce, její typy, interakční styly a dále se zaměřuje na osobnost pedagoga volného času, náročnost jeho povolání, úskalí a rizika této profese. Empirická část zahrnuje výsledky kvantitativního šetření, pohled na sebehodnocení pedagogů volného času. Z výsledků výzkumu při ověřování hypotéz vyplynula skutečnost týkající se rozdílu v sebehodnocení pedagogů volného času z hlediska věku, pohlaví, místa bydliště a odpracovaných let v oboru.

Abstract:

The diploma work focuses on the view of a leisure educator on him/herself and his/her work. He/she should ponder on his/her pedagogical activity, assess it and look for ways to improve it. It is about self-reflection as a topic in the process of quality social interaction of a leisure educator with a child. The purpose of this work is to find out the view of individual leisure educators on their own activity through a questionnaire survey. The theoretical part describes the concept of self-reflection, its meaning, stages, functions and methods. It follows the topic of social interaction, its types, interaction styles and further focuses on the personality of the leisure educator, the demands of his/her profession, the difficulties and risks of this profession. The empirical part includes the results of a quantitative survey, a look at the self-assessment of leisure educators. The results of the research in testing the hypotheses have revealed the fact of the difference in the self-assessment of leisure educators in terms of age, gender, place of residence and years of service in the field.
