Abstract:
This thesis deals with the comparison of three Czech translations of the book Dubliners by James Joyce, namely the translations by Zdeněk Urbánek from 1959, Aloys Skoumal from 1988 and by Kateřina Hilská from 2012. Tato práce se zabývá porovnáním tří českých překladů díla Dubliners od Jamese Joyce. Překlady zahrnují překlad Zdeňka Urbánka z roku 1959, překlad Aloyse Skoumala z roku 1988 a překlad Kateřiny Hilské z roku 2012. Tyto překlady byly vybrány zejména kvůli jejich časovému rozestupu.
