Transport of goods from the port of Ghent to the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou přepravy zboží z přístavu Gent do Ostravy. Konkrétně se jedná o přepravu hutnického polotovaru zvaný brama. Práce analyzuje ekonomickou a environmentální náročnost silniční, železniční a vodní přepravy. Text hodnotí, který způsob přepravy je nejvýhodnější.
Abstract:
The master thesis deals with the issue of transport of goods from the port of Ghent to Ostrava. Specifically, the transport of a metallurgical semi-finished product called brama. The thesis analyses the economic and environmental intensity of road, rail and ship transport. The text evaluates which mode of transport is the most advantageous.
