The goal of this thesis is to analyse the main factors of adoption of the euro in Czech Republic and in continuity to that either recommend the entry to the Euro area or not. The adoption is conditional on fulfilling of the Maastricht criteria. The process is supported by an analysis of advantages and disadvantages in connection to the political and economic situation.
