Economical aspects of undertaking

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je smrt, umírání a pohřební obřady v průběhu dějin a jejich význam pro člověka. Dále, a také především, zdůraznění ekonomických aspektů v souvislosti s provozem pohřební společnosti nebo krematoria, definování pohřebnictví jako odvětví, vypracování analýzy jeho makrookolí, mikrookolí, působení konkurenčních sil v odvětví a následně doporučení nejvhodnější strategie pro vstup hypotetické firmy do tohoto odvětví. Na téma je tedy nahlíženo prostřednictvím historické deskripce, společenskovědní analýzy současného stavu a hlavně v kontextu ekonomicko-manažerského pohledu.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to discuss the importance of death, dying and funerals over time and theirs significance for the man. Further and especially, emphasis of the economical aspects of burial services and cremation, definition of the undertaking as an industry, performing an analysis of the macro environment, micro environment, competitive forces in the sector and suggestion for the best strategy for a hypothetical company entering the industry of undertaking. The theme of undertaking is described from historical perspective, further is performed socioscientific analysis of current state and especially, the industry is described in cotenxt of economic- managerial point of view.
