This Bachelor thesis deals articles in British press covering Scottish Independence Referendum 2014 form the linguistic point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part explains features of newspaper texts and means of persuasion which are used. Moreover, Scottish relationship with England is introduced as well as its history.
