Diplomová práce se zabývá autorskoprávní judikaturou Nejvyššího soudu Spojených států amerických. Jsou analyzovány rozhodnutí týkající se například autorskoprávní ochrany myšlenek, doktríny fair use, nových technologií jako kabelové televize, videorekordérů nebo sdílení dat přes internet. The diploma thesis deals with the copyright case-law of the Supreme Court of the United States of America. It analyzes decisions regarding, inter alia, copyrightability of ideas, fair use doctrine, new technologies such as cable television, video-recorders, or on-line file-sharing.
