Death of child hero in literature for children and youth

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je literární zobrazení, analýza a interpretace tématu smrti dětského hrdiny v knihách pro děti a mládež. Práce je zaměřena na knihy zahraničních autorů: Kitty Crowther - Návštěva malé smrti, Astrid Lindgrenová - Bratři Lví srdce a Katherine Paterson - Most do země Terabithia. Kromě rozboru těchto děl je v práci představen i pohled na smrt z několika hledisek, z hlediska vědního, historického a literárního, práce také ukazuje vnímání smrti u dětí a jejich truchlení, hlavní zaměření je na smrt jako na téma v literatuře. Práce podává stručný přehled zahraniční literatury pro děti a mládež s tematikou smrti. V závěru je komparace knih s tématem smrti.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is literary views, analysis and interpretation of the topic death of child hero in literature for children and youth. The bachelor thesis is focused on foreign books writers: Kitty Crowther - La visite de Petite Mort, Astrid Lindgren - The Brothers Lionheart and Katherine Paterson ? Bridge to Terabithia. In this bachelor thesis is introduced view on death from several aspects, aspect science, next historical and literary aspect. This bachelor thesis shows perception of death near children and their mourning, the main focus is on death as on topic in literature. In this text is a brief overview of foreign literature with topic of death. In conclusion is a comparation of books with topic of death.
