Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je transformovat účetní výkazy společnosti Vodovody a kanalizace Kroměříž, a.s. k 31.12. 2010 sestavené dle české účetní legislativy na účetní výkazy dle mezinárodního standardu účetního výkaznictví pro malé a střední podniky (IFRS for SMEs). V teoretické části práce je nejprve vymezen pojem a význam IFRS, dále je charakterizován mezinárodní standard účetního výkaznictví pro malé a střední podniky (IFRS for SMEs) a vymezen pojem malé a střední podniky dle tohoto standardu. Velká pozornost je věnována popisu vybraných oddílů standardu pro malé a střední podniky a je provedeno srovnání s českou účetní legislativou. V praktické části je nejprve charakterizována společnost Vodovody a kanalizace Kroměříž, a.s., poté je provedena analýza účetní závěrky společnosti a jsou aplikovány vybrané oddíly standardu pro malé a střední podniky. Na základě aplikace vybraných oddílů tohoto standardu je sestavena účetní závěrka společnosti k 31.12. 2010, která je v souladu s požadavky IFRS for SMEs. Nakonec jsou vyčísleny náklady a vymezeny a kvantifikovány rizika, přínosy a dopady, které jsou s projektem transformace účetních výkazů společnosti spojené.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to transform financial statements of company Vodovody a kanalizace Kroměříž, a.s. to 31st December 2010 compiled according to the Czech accounting legislation into financial statements according to the international financial reporting standards for small and medium enterprises (IFRS for SMEs). In the theoretic part of the thesis, at first the notion and meaning of IFRS is defined, further on, international financial reporting standard for small companies (IFRS for SMEs) is characterised and the notion of small and medium enterprises is defined according to this standard. A great deal of attention is devoted to the description of selected parts of the standard for small and medium enterprises and there is carried out a comparison with the Czech accounting legislation. In the practical part, at first company ?Vodovody a kanalizace Kroměříž, a.s.? is characterised, then the analysis of company final accounts is carried out and selected parts of standard for small and medium enterprises are applied. Based on the application of these standard selected parts, the final accounts is composed to 31st December 2010 that is in correspondence with the requirements of IFRS for SMEs. Finally, costs are figured out and risks, benefits and effects are defined and quantified, that are connected with the project of transformation of the company accounting statements.
