A Proposal of an Education System in the Company of Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s.

Abstract:

Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o systému vzdělávání pracovníků prodejního oddělení společnosti Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s., která se zabývá výrobou a distribucí nátěrových hmot v České republice. Cílem práce je analýza systému vzdělávání v této části firmy, porovnání současného stavu s požadovaným a návrh doporučení pro vytvoření uceleného a funkčního systému vzdělávání, který bude odpovídat potřebám všech pracovníků prodejního oddělení. Práce je napsána z pohledu obchodního manažera společnosti, kterou jsem dlouhá léta zastával, a přizpůsobena potřebám firmy. První, teoretická část práce je rozdělena na několik samostatných kapitol, popisujících jednotlivé oblasti, které jsou důležité pro tvorbu systému vzdělávání. Do této části patří téma potřeby vzdělávání a využití lidského potenciálu pro zaměstnavatele a dále základní pojmy vysvětlující podstatu vzdělávání a jeho cílů. Následuje představení některých ze strategií rozvoje, které se věnují jak individuálnímu tak skupinovému vzdělávání. Mezi nejdůležitější patří kapitoly věnované popisu oblastí, metod a forem vzdělávání, které jsou základním materiálem pro tvorbu vzdělávacích aktivit a systému vzdělávání. Celý systém vzdělávání a jeho jednotlivé fáze jsou pak podrobně popsány v závěru teoretické části. Druhá, praktická část se věnuje podrobnějšímu představení prodejního oddělení společnosti Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s. a popisu současného stavu vzdělávání jeho pracovníků. Pro hlubší analýzu potřeb vzdělávání byla zvolena metoda sociologického průzkumu formou dotazníku. Otázky byly formulovány tak, aby z výsledků průzkumu bylo možné sestavit vzdělávací plány a specifikovat konkrétní vzdělávací aktivity pro každou ze čtyř vytipovaných vzdělávacích skupin. Další kapitoly této bakalářské práce obsahují již praktický návod a doporučení, jak vybudovat systém vzdělávání v prodejním oddělení společnosti Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s. Základním stavebním prvkem je vzorový systém vzdělávání rozdělený do jednotlivých fází, které jsou, na základě získaných informací z dotazníku, upraveny pro konkrétní potřeby stanovených vzdělávacích skupin prodejního oddělení společnosti. Závěr práce shrnuje všechny poznatky týkající se vzdělávání zaměstnanců a sestavení konkrétního systému vzdělávání při zachování všech důležitých standardů, které jsou uvedeny v mnoha publikacích a které byly použity jako zdroj informací pro tuto bakalářskou práci.

Abstract:

Abstract This Bachelor Thesis is on the system of education and training in the Sales Department at the company of Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s., which core business is the production and distribution of paints in the Czech Republic. The Thesis objective is to analyse the system of education and training in the particular section of the company, to compare the current status to the required one, and to propose recommendations for the formation of a complete and working system of education, which would meet needs of all personnel of the Sales Department. The Thesis is written from the point of view of the company Sales Manager, in which position I was active for years, and tailored to the company needs. The first theoretical part of the Thesis is subdivided into several independent chapters describing respective fields important for creating a system of education. This part deals with themes of the necessity of education and use of human potential for the employer, basic terms elucidating the essence of education and its objectives. Some of the development strategies, which deal with education of both individuals and groups, are introduced here. Chapters dedicated to the description of fields, methods, and forms of education, which are the fundamental material for the creation of education and training activities and the system of education, belong to the most important ones. The whole system of education and training and its respective phases are described in detail in the closing section of the theoretical part. The second practical part is dedicated to a rather detailed introduction of the Sales Department of the company of Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s. and the description of the current system of education and training of its personnel. The methodology of the sociological survey by means of a questionnaire was applied to carry out a deeper analysis of their educational needs. Questions were formulated the way the survey results would enable to compile education plans and to specify concrete educational activities for each of the four predetermined educational groups. Next chapters already contain a practical guidance and recommendations on the creation of the system of education and training in the Sales Department of the company of Akzo Nobel Coatings CZ, a.s. The basic building block is a template of the system of education subdivided into respective phases, which are, on the basis of information acquired from questionnaires, modified to suit concrete needs of the predetermined educational groups of the company Sales Department. The Thesis conclusions summarise all findings on education of employees and creating a concrete system of education while maintaining all important standards, given in numerous publications, which have been employed as information sources for the Thesis.
