Spinal trauma in terms of pre-hospital care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá spinálním traumatem v podmínkách přednemocniční neodkladné péče. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části bakalářské práce je popsána anatomie páteře a stavba, uložení i funkce míchy. Je zde vysvětlena etiologie, patofyziologie a diagnostika spinálního traumatu. Tato část také popisuje postup léčby poskytnuté zdravotnickou záchrannou službou na místě události, využití různých imobilizačních technik i možnou spolupráci s dalšími složkami integrovaného záchranného systému. Praktická část bakalářské práce je tvořena třemi kazuistikami, ve kterých je popsán postup zdravotnické záchranné služby u pacientů se spinálním traumatem. Cílem práce je pomocí kazuistik popsat postup péče zdravotnické záchranné služby u pacientů s podezřením na spinální trauma a také doporučení pro laickou veřejnost, jak správně zajistit nemocného s podezřením na poranění páteře do příjezdu zdravotnické záchranné služby.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with spinal trauma in the conditions of pre-hospital emergency care. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis describes the anatomy of the spine and the structure, placement and function of the spinal cord. The etiology, pathophysiology and diagnosis of spinal trauma are explained here. This part also describes the procedure of treatment provided by the emergency medical service at the scene of the event, the use of various immobilization techniques and possible cooperation with other components of the integrated rescue system. The practical part of the bachelor thesis consists of three case reports, in which the procedure of the emergency medical service for patients with spinal trauma is described. The aim of the work is to use case reports to describe the procedure of emergency medical care for patients with suspected spinal trauma and also recommendations for the general public on how to properly secure a patient with suspected spinal cord injury until the emergency medical service arrives.
