Analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic focused on Usti nad Labem district

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nese název "Analýza nezaměstnanosti v České republice se zaměřením na okres Ústí nad Labem". Diplomovou práci lze rozdělit na čtyři části. První část představuje teoretickou základnu diplomové práce. Definuje nezaměstnanost, je zaměřena na typy a důsledky nezaměstnanosti, ale i na trh práce a jednotlivé komponenty pracovního trhu. Teoretická část se také zabývá politikou zaměstnanosti. Druhá část práce charakterizuje Českou republiku a okres Ústí nad Labem. Je rozdělena na dvě kapitoly, které se zabývají obyvatelstvem ČR a okresu ÚL, věkovou a vzdělanostní strukturou obyvatel. Kapitola o okresu Ústí nad Labem je zaměřena i na strategii pro rozvoj města Ústí nad Labem. Za třetí část diplomové práce se označuje struktura uchazečů o zaměstnání a následná analýza nezaměstnanosti. Struktura uchazečů se zaobírá problémovými skupinami na trhu práce, pro které je obtížné najít pracovní uplatnění. Analýza nezaměstnanosti je zaměřena na Českou republiku a okres Ústí nad Labem v letech 2005-2015. Jedna podkapitola se zabývá nezaměstnaností v Ústeckém kraji. Čtvrtá část diplomové práce je komparativní analýza nezaměstnanosti, komparace mezi Českou republikou, Ústeckým krajem a okresem Ústí nad Labem.

Abstract:

My thesis, which is titled "The analysis of unemployment in the Czech Republic focused on Usti nad Labem district", is divided into four parts. The first part represents the theoretical base of the thesis. It defines unemployment, focuses on different types of unemployment and its consequences, and the labour market with its individual components. The theoretical part also deals with employment policy. The second part of this thesis characterizes the Czech Republic and the region of Usti nad Labem. This part is divided into two chapters which deal with the population of the Czech Republic and Usti nad Labem district, age and the educational structure of the population. The chapter about Usti nad Labem district is also focused on a development strategy for the city of Usti nad Labem. The third part of the thesis highlights the structure of job applicants and the subsequent analysis of unemployment. The structure of candidates is focused on problematic groups in the labour market, mainly on people who have difficulties with finding a job. The unemployment analysis is focused on the Czech Republic and the district of Usti nad Labem between 2005 and 2015. One of the subchapters deals with unemployment in the Usti region. The fourth part of the thesis is a comparative analysis of unemployment which deals with the comparison between the Czech Republic, Usti region and district of Usti nad Labem.
