Identification and description of internal communication weaknesses in a small business

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá interní komunikací rodinného podniku převážně z pohledu zaměstnanců. Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikace slabin interní komunikace na základě ICSQ dotazníku (Internal Communication satisfaction questionaire) z pohledu zaměstnanců, porozumění těmto slabinám na základě následných rozhovorů s vybranými zaměstnanci a také zjištění úhlu pohledu zaměstnavatele díky rozhovoru s ním. Výzkum byl tedy proveden kvantitativní i kvalitativní metodou, které jsou představeny v praktické části. Výzkum odhalil, že nejslabšími oblastmi komunikace jsou podle zaměstnanců Spokojenost s neformální komunikací a Spokojenost s komunikací na jednáních. Dále respondenti v rozhovorech uvedli, že by ocenili zavedení pravidelných porad, kde by se dozvěděli veškeré potřebné informace všichni najednou a sdíleli s majiteli své názory a požadavky.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the internal communication of a family business mainly from the perspective of the employees. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to identify the weaknesses of internal communication based on the ICSQ questionnaire (Internal Communication satisfaction questionnaire) from the employees' point of view, to understand these weaknesses based on subsequent interviews with selected employees, and also to find out the employer's point of view thanks to an interview with him. The research was therefore carried out using both quantitative and qualitative methods, which are presented in the practical part. The research revealed that, according to employees, the weakest areas of communication are Satisfaction with informal communication and Satisfaction with communication at meetings. Furthermore, the respondents stated in the interviews that they would appreciate the introduction of regular meetings, where everyone would receive all the necessary information at once and share their opinions and requirements with the owners.
