Destination Management and Tourism Development in the Straznice Microregion

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou rozvoje cestovního ruchu a s ním spojená aplikace destinačního managementu na území mikroregionu Strážnicko. Hlavním cílem je navrhnout projekt pro rozvoj a zatraktivnění cestovního ruchu na vybraném území. K získání potřebných informací a dosažení stanoveného cíle byly využity zdroje jak primárního, tak sekundárního charakteru. Pomocí analýzy předpokladů rozvoje cestovního ruchu a taktéž polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s aktéry cestovního ruchu bylo možné sestavit SWOT analýzu. Tato analýza posloužila jako základ pro navržení konkrétního projektu za účelem rozvoje cestovního ruchu v mikroregionu Strážnicko.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of tourism development and the related application of destination management in the Straznice Microregion. The main objective is to propose a project for the development and attractiveness of tourism in the selected area. Both primary and secondary sources were used to obtain the necessary information and to achieve the stated objective. By means of the analysis of tourism development assumptions and semi structured interviews with tourism actors it was possible to compile a SWOT analysis. This analysis was used as a basis for the proposal of a specific project for the development of tourism in the Strážnice Microregion.
