Abstract:
This thesis serves to familiarise the reader with the cycle of preludes by Sergei Bortkiewicz. Each of the preludes is acompanied by an analysis and also an interpretation commentary. The comments proceed from the advice, that I gained in the piano lessons with the professor František Malý and also from the personal view gained during studying them.
