Liberty and Democracy in Contemporary Republican Thought
Abstract:
Předkládaná bakalářská práce s názvem Svoboda a demokracie v současném republikánském myšlení se zabývá republikánskou politickou teorií v dílech Quentina Skinnera, Maurizia Viroliho a Philipa Pettita. V práci budou zpracovány pojmy svoboda a demokracie (resp. vláda), stejně jako zasazení těchto diskusí do souvislosti s některými současnými proudy politické teorie.
Abstract:
Presented bachelor thesis, entitled Liberty and Democracy in Contemporary Republican Thought, deals with the republican political theory in the works of Quentin Skinner, Maurizio Viroliho and Philip Pettit. In work will be processed concepts of freedom and democracy (or government), as well as the integration of such discussions in relation to certain currents of contemporary political theory.
