The diploma thesis deals with three young adult novels and their depiction of the queer female characters’ sexual identity development process on the basis of theoretical models by Dillon et al. (2011) and Clarke (2010). The analyzed novels are Annie on My Mind (1982), Keeping You a Secret (2003), and The Miseducation of Cameron Post (2012).
