Comparison of the activities of the Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je podat pokud možno ucelený pohled na historii a činnost obou policejních složek, tedy Policie ČR a obecní policie na území České republiky. Dále budou uvedeny povinnosti, oprávnění, otázky služebního a pracovního poměru, rovněž oblast působnosti u Police České republiky a obecní policie. Zaměření výkladu bude také na řízení, organizaci a činnost policistů a strážníků, na právní předpisy související s problematikou práce policistů a strážníků. V diplomové práci bude zjištěna a zpracována kooperace mezi oběma složkami a možné výhody a nevýhody služby u obou policejních složek. Stěžejními zdroji při zpracování diplomové práce bude odborná literatura, poznatky z praxe, právní předpisy a pokyny nadřízených subjektů obou policejních složek s cílem podat co nejvíce ucelený pohled na Policii České republiky a obecní policii.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to provide as comprehensive a view as possible of the history and activities of both police forces, i.e. the Police of the Czech Republic and the municipal police in the territory of the Czech Republic. In addition, duties, authorizations, issues of service and employment, as well as the area of competence of the Police of the Czech Republic and municipal police will be listed. The focus of the interpretation will also be on the management, organization and activities of policemen and constables, on legal regulations related to the issue of the work of policemen and constables. In the diploma thesis, the cooperation between the two units and the possible advantages and disadvantages of the service in both police units will be identified and processed. The key sources for the preparation of the diploma thesis will be professional literature, knowledge from practice, legal regulations and instructions of the superior subjects of both police forces with the aim of providing as comprehensive a view as possible of the Police of the Czech Republic and the municipal police.
