Physical Activities for 1st to 3rd Graders at Waldorf Primary School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na pohybové aktivity žáků v prvním až třetím ročníku na waldorfské základní škole. Cílem práce je představit pohybové aktivity žáků během standardního školního dne a poukázat na možnost přenesení poznatků o pohybové aktivitě žáků z waldorfské školy i do běžných základních škol. Práce je členěna na kapitoly, z nichž většina obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. Jednotlivé kapitoly se zaměřují na témata spojená s pohybovou aktivitou žáků. Teoretické části kapitol se věnují dosavadně známým poznatkům, které přináší o waldorfské pedagogice odborná literatura, praktické části kapitol přináší pohled z osobního setkávání se s waldorfskou pedagogikou v roli učitele. Práce je doplněna dvěma polostrukturovanými rozhovory s kolegyněmi s dlouhodobou praxí a působností na waldorfské škole. Přílohy doplňují celkový charakter práce ukázkami z realizovaných vyučovacích hodin a fotodokumentací.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the physical activities of students from the first up to the third grade in a Waldorf primary school. The main goal of the thesis is to present the physical activities of the students throughout the standard school day and to point to the possibility of translating the findings about the physical activities of the students from the Waldorf School into the common primary schools. The thesis is divided into chapters, most of which contain a theoretical as well as a practical part. The individual chapters focus on the themes connected to the physical activities of students. The theoretical parts of the chapters explore up-to-date findings about Waldorf pedagogy provided in the reference books. The practical parts of the chapters bring a teacher’s point of view from personal encounters with Waldorf pedagogy. The thesis is accompanied by semi-structured interviews with colleagues, who have had long teaching careers in the Waldorf school system. The appendices complete the overall character of the thesis with examples from the taught lessons and photo documentation.
