Evaluation of the Educational Program in a Selected Organisation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Evaluace vzdělávacího programu ve vybrané organizaci“, jež vznikla pod vedením doc. PhDr. Jiřího Winklera, Ph.D., se zabývá zhodnocením vzdělávacího programu implementovaného ve vybrané organizaci. Záměrem tohoto programu bylo posílit konkurenceschopnost organizace a zvýšit kvalifikační způsobilost jejích zaměstnanců, přičemž právě o zjištění, jak daný program naplnil své vytyčené cíle, usiluje tato diplomová práce. Teoretická část přináší odborné koncepty zabývající se problematikou lidských zdrojů a jejich významem pro organizaci, organizačním vzděláváním a konkurenceschopností firmy. Navazující metodologická část se zabývá metodologií kvalitativního výzkumu, která byla použita při evaluaci implementace daného programu a jeho výsledků v oblasti organizačního výkonu. Výsledky této evaluace nabízí závěrečná empirická část práce, kde dochází nejen k zodpovězení výzkumných otázek, ale také k celkovému zhodnocení programu vzhledem k jeho celistvosti a návaznosti na koncept organizačního vzdělávání.

Abstract:

The diploma work on the topic of "Evaluation of the Educational Program in a Selected Organisation", which was created under supervision of doc. PhDr. Jiří Winkler, Ph. D., deals with evaluation of an educational program that has been implemented in a chosen organisation. The program's intention was to strengthen competitiveness of the company, add more to qualification abilities of its employees. A detection of how the program has met the originally outlined goals is, in fact, the aim of this work. The theoretical part of the work presents expert concepts dealing with a human resources issue and its importance for the organisation, with company's educational system, and with competitiveness of the company. The following methodological part deals with qualitative research methodology which has been used for evaluation of implementation of the given program and its outcomes in the field of the organisation's achievements. The final empirical part comes up with results of this evaluation. Not only research questions are answered in this part, but there is also a final evaluation of the whole program, considering its fullness and a relation to the organisation's educational concept, there.
